The only thing worth waiting for is the food delivery guy
Impatient Soul
Sometimes you don’t want to get up…you want to sit on your butt and order food and sit on your butt some more. Lucky for you I have put together list of who delivers in the Polis area. I will even go one step further and tell you if they accept cash or card! Aren’t you lucky!
FYI – The Gyros and Grill aren’t delivering now…annoying I know.
Tis Pitsas Mezeklikia
I have to admit, I order from here a lot. So much so that you can say my name and they know where to deliver…ooops. I mean I think it’s a good thing, I don’t have to constantly explain directions! I have tried quite a few dishes too. I love the veggie wrap which is very like an enchilada…roasted veggies in a tomato sauce in a warm soft tortilla wrap covered in melted cheese (that’s the best bit)! It comes with chips and salad too. I have also sampled their chicken souvlaki, sheftalia and pizza (I prefer thin crust to deep here). I honestly don’t think you think you can go wrong with what you order here. Delivery is free in the local area and they also accept card payments on delivery as long as you ask when putting the order in. Not open Mon.

Ari Lahmajoun
If you love middle eastern food then I’ve found your place. Ari Lahmajoun is a delightfully yummy little Kurdish restaurant in Polis, near the roundabout. I recommend their homemade falafels. Great in a wrap with salad and garlic sauce (I could eat this by the bucket load)! Don’t you think it looks like a tasty present ready to unwrap! The wraps are the traditional Kurdish wraps so are much thinner and bigger than anything normally used here. I also love their traditional flatbread which is the restaurant’s namesake…Lahmajoun. Topped with lamb, you can even add cheese nom, it is a lovely starter. I recommend the pizzas too as they are homemade in their stone pizza oven. Delivery costs a couple of euros extra in the local area.
Pizza Master
You want pizza in this town, this is where you come. My favourite is the veggie pizza (my friend once ordered this with chicken haha)! Its on a thin crispy base and covered with veggies and loads of cheese. Fresh spinach is added on the top and I love this little extra touch! A small is 4 massive slices and I couldn’t eat all 4. A large is perfect for 3 people or for 2 who are extra hungry or want to save a piece for the next day (okies you caught me I regularly order a medium for myself so I also have food the next day and I AM PROUD OF IT hahaha)! I am now also in love with the ‘Popeye’. Pizza with feta, black olives, fresh spinach and EGG! I mean when I first saw this I thought, pizza with egg?! What sorcery is this! Turns out it’s the delicious type! Highly recommended! New to my taste buds is the cheesy garlic bread pizza (see below) oh and what a delicious smell of cheese and garlic you get when you open the box…yummy! It’s so nice and crispy! Delivery is free in the local area, they will even go out Droushia way, and you can pay by card on delivery if you ask when ordering. Ps also really recommend their home made coleslaw for the win! Not open weds.
